About Me
My aim for Savvy Chic, Canny Style is to find the best and most gorgeous fashion bargains on the web and to share them with fellow savvy and canny shoppers! I've found that with a little know-how, there is rarely a need to pay full-price for anything at the moment - and even if there are no discount codes or sales available, using tricks like cashback sites means that savings are usually still possible.
I will only write about things I love, that I would buy myself and I take my own advice! I adore finding ways to be a savvy shopper and make savings whilst also discovering unique and gorgeous bargains. As such, when I do 'put my money where my mouth is,' I will give my readers honest feedback about how the process was, how I managed to save money, how easy it was and what the product is like.

My Style
As a working mum, I tend to favour classic styles with a vintage twist and clothes, shoes and accessories that are practical but still pretty. However, that's not to say that I won't be looking for completely impractical, beautiful, amazing items - I will! Quality is also a big issue for me; I believe it is important to buy investment pieces that last, that feel good and that are made well and these can often be found at a discount by using my savvy and canny hints and tips. But again, there's a place for cheaper items and I'll write about those if I like them! I am using Pinterest as a style board and source of inspiration and this will give an idea of the sorts of fashion items I will be looking out for on the blog.
Other Projects
It's not all about fashion! I have several other money-saving blogs which I hope will help readers easily economise in their day-to-day lives. My blogs are:
I am also writing a blog about my experience with breast cancer, which has developed into secondary bone and liver cancer. For more information, please visit my blog or Facebook page. I'm also fundraising for equipment and treatment, as well as the hospice that looks after me.
